BIOCOOR -Tender Notice: Training Materials Supply and Community Disaster Preparedness Simulation

BIOCOOR (Biodiversity Conservation Organization), with financial support from its partners, is pleased to invite qualified and experienced service providers to submit sealed bids for the supply of training materials and facilitation of community disaster preparedness simulations. This activity is part of the Community-Based Natural Resources Management and Governance Project.
1. Scope of Work
The selected service provider will be responsible for:
Supplying training materials using locally
available and environmentally friendly resources
Organizing and facilitating disaster
preparedness simulations/drills in 8 villages
Engaging Community Disaster Risk
Management Committees (CDRMCs)
Testing early warning communication systems
Providing practical guidance on disaster preparedness
Documenting lessons learned and submitting detailed reports
2. Eligibility Criteria
Interested bidders must meet the following requirements:
Be legally registered in Rwanda
Have proven experience in training, facilitation, or disaster risk reduction activities
Demonstrate the ability to effectively work with local communities
Possess the capacity to deliver services within the required timeframe
3. Required Documents
Applicants must submit the following documents:
A signed Proforma Invoice with a detailed cost breakdown
Company Registration Certificate
Valid RRA Tax Clearance Certificate
Company profile highlighting relevant experience
4. Submission Details
Complete bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope to:
BIOCOOR Head Office – Karubanda
Submission Deadline: 28th February 2026 at 11:00 AM
Late submissions will not be accepted.
