Family Foundation Dr.Alfred Paul Jahn visits Rwesero, donates foodstuffs and clothes for needy communities

Dr. Alfred Paul Jahn, from the Family Foundation, made a significant visit to Rwesero village in Kigali sector on December 1, 2023, as part of efforts to support the community at the end of the year.

During this visit, they generously provided essential supplies like food and clothing for the children.

Dr. Alfred spoke to the media, highlighting the organization’s longstanding presence in Rwanda spanning three years.

He emphasized their collaborative efforts with the government in various initiatives aimed at assisting those in need.

Their contributions have included supporting education by funding schools, constructing buildings for the less fortunate, and engaging in charitable endeavors.

He also shed light on the Uwimana Fidel Foundation’s activities, primarily centered on aiding students across different educational levels. Their support has reached 300 students in primary, secondary, and university education within Rwanda.

Additionally, 11 students have pursued studies abroad in Germany, with 8 graduates now contributing their skills and knowledge in Rwanda.

Jacques Shimiyimana, the Executive Secretary of Rwesero Village, expressed heartfelt gratitude for Dr. Alfred’s ongoing support and care for the community. The aid provided, especially the food assistance, has significantly alleviated hardships, ensuring that the residents settled in the IDP model village of Rwesero concluded the year without experiencing hunger.

Residents, overwhelmed with joy, expressed their appreciation to Dr. Alfred.

They warmly welcomed him, showcasing their gratitude by extending their support and demonstrating affection as he toured houses recently affected by disasters, offering assistance in repairing damaged roofs.

Dr. Alfred’s generosity and support have undoubtedly made a meaningful difference in the lives of the residents in Rwesero village.
